Great promotional video for Richard Roberts's exclusive luxury camp in the Masai Mara in the heart of Kenya. The video shows the flight into the camp, then various jeep safari adventures, seeing the requisite zebras, wildebeest, hippos, giraffes, lions, rhinos, elephants, etc. What makes this video work for me is the camera work and editing - the richness of the landscape colours and wildlife is very compelling; and all in a soft-sell approach. Very nice!
Here's a great little video showing a safari adventure in Kenya. Even though it's less than 3 minutes long, it covers a lot of ground, from the local Kenyan cultures to the big wildlife you expect to see in the Masai Mara. Big highlights for me were the baby elephant hanging on to its mother's tail, and the cheetah hijacking the top of a jeep! But there's also footage of wildebeest and zebras crossing a river during their migration, hippos, a resting rhino and even a family of warthogs. Good compilation!
Here's a great documentary look at a safari trip to the Masai Mara in Kenya, a continuation of the Serengeti plains of Tanzania. There's lots of well shot footage of cheetahs and lions and other African animals, all described with good voice over explanations by the host. My personal highlights are the cheetah jumping on the hood of the jeep about 2 minutes in, and the tiniest cheetah cub and its chirping call to the mother. There's also a good clip of the wildebeest migration, crossing the river about 6 minutes in. Overall a very enjoyable video, definitely worth a watch.
Quite a poignant look at the Maasai Mara of Kenya and the animals of the Serengeti in Tanzania. Set as a tribe to the Swahilis, this video has some great images both of the Maasai people as well as great photos of a leopard, lion, zebras, wildebeest migration and giraffes. A little slow at times, but still very nice to watch.
A candid look at some of the big animals in Africa. Love the elephant family crossing the road behind the jeep, as well as the lion family lounging on the road...
